Running & Fitness Program

Fridays from  2:45 - 4:30

Grades K-8

*Students in grades K-2 need to be accompanied by an adult or older sibling.

Class Format:

15 minutes instructional time lesson or video

15 minute warm-up

Running

Cool down

 

Each month will concentrate on a different aspect of fitness and nutrition such as goal setting, goal tracking, hydration, pre/post workout exercises, and running techniques.

 

Student will keep fitness journals of their progress with:

Jumping Jacks

Sit-ups

Running time

Running Distances

 

Mrs. Gauttier will be helping children keep track of progress using data to help students stay on track with meeting their goals.

 

During the program we will incorporate fun activities such as the hurdle,  40 yard dash, and relay races.
